I began writing stories for the Our Town in 2006. My first story, "The Two-bit Lunch," was a recollection of what it was like growing up in my hometown of Rochelle Park in the 50's, when most of the town was mainly woodlands and rivers, and quicksand was our biggest fear. It was fun to write, and brought back a lot of memories.
Since then, I have written a dozen stories or more about friendships, adventures, and changes that I experienced as a kid. Most of these stories appear on this site, with more to come.
No life is complete without friends. I'd like to give a "shout-out," as they say (and most of us wouldn't be able to hear it otherwise), to some of the best:
Joe Radigan, Jay Ford, Richard Jurgens, Bob Gilman (kneeling), Larry Mascia, Bob Handlin
