In the beginning, when I first began to paint, starting was an issue. There were doubts and questions that made it hard to go from a preliminary sketch to actually applying the paint. What I found out by going ahead was that mistakes can be corrected. There is nothing concrete about a painting while it is in the process of being completed. That may seem obvious, but as stumbling blocks go, hesitating to begin is as bad as not painting at all.
